No! In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. They will round down the value of the coupon. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value at the register).
Can I use more then one coupon on a single item?
Yes! When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
I have 4 coupons for the same item can I use them all?
Yes! When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock.
Will Walgreens take expired coupons?
No! Walgreens does not accept expired coupons.
I have a coupon from another drugstore, can I use it at Walgreens?
No! Competitor coupons are not accepted at Walgreens.
How many coupons can I use in one transaction?
The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards may not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
Can I use coupons on items that are on sale?
Yes! Walgreens will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
Will they accept Buy One, Get One Free Coupons?
Yes!
Can I use coupons on a Buy One, Get One Free sale?
Yes! Up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased. You do have to pay tax on both items.
Do they accept print at home coupons?
Yes! Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons with a clear and scannable barcode.
I am buying an item that has a Register Rewards offer available, can i buy more then one?
Yes & No! There is a limit of one Register Rewards (RR) printed per offer per customer per transaction.
Can I use a Register Rewards to buy something that is also offering a Register Rewards?
Yes & No! Customers redeeming a Register Rewards against the same offer may not receive another RR.
If it is not for the same offer in witch the first Register Rewards came from then you will earn a new Register Rewards.
If my Register Rewards that I am using to pay is higher then the amount of the purchase, do I get cash back?
No! The RR coupon value cannot exceed the total purchase amount. No cash back and no cash value for RR coupon.
I have a Register Reward, can I use it to buy a gift card?
No! Register Rewards cannot be used toward the purchase of gift cards and pre-paid cards.
Is anything excluded from using Register Rewards on?
Yes! You can not use Register Rewards to buy any of the following items.
- Prescriptions
- Tobacco products
- Alcoholic beverages
- Dairy products
- Lottery tickets
- Money orders/transfers
- Transportation passes
- Special event/entertainment tickets or passes
- Postage stamps
- Gift cards/phone cards/prepaid/Green DotTM cards
- Prescription Savings ClubTM memberships
- Health care services, including immunizations
- Any items prohibited by law
