Day 2 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration: It’s all About the Family at Disney
Just because this was a conference for social media moms, doesn’t mean Disney didn’t think of it all! While we mothers went to our conference, our families were catered to with the utmost importance. Day two of the Social Media Mom’s Celebration was jam packed with fun for the whole family to enjoy from the minute you left your hotel room at the Yacht Club. 
Special Breakfast for the Kids:
They started the fun with delicious breakfast with the characters from Disney’s hit movie Inside Out. Talk about starting your day off right! Start it with a character breakfast at Disney and you’ll see smiles from ear to ear! Then the kids had the opportunity tell the world how awesome their moms were on video; a special SURPRISE Mother’s Day gift that was edited and shown to moms on the last day of the conference that was absolutely amazing & captures the spontaneous nature of all the children!
After breakfast, they spent a Free day exploring the magical parks while moms sat in on the most fabulous conference I’ve ever attending. I’ve been blogging since 2009 and attended multiple conference so that says a LOT!
A Conference of a Lifetime:
Now just because the family was out having fun doesn’t mean we moms were bored to tears; nope, Disney made sure to make our experience magical as well. We started with a quick bus ride to Hollywood Studios where we met Storm Troopers and Chewbacca! Yes! We also enjoyed the 1st ½ of “Finding Dory.” (By the way you are going to love this film – it’s a must see!)
Next we had an amazing speaker line that inspired us with stories, top notch entertainment, and information about Disney. As a Disney fan, I’ve always had a passion for Disney but the more you find out about the people that work with Disney to make your vacation magical the more I appreciate every aspect of Disney. Disney is really a culture and a lifestyle not just a vacation. It’s so much more….. Check out some of our great speakers:

So, as you can see I was busy learning about Disney, social media, content, and being entertained by the most hilarious comedians. Just when you think your day can’t possibly get any more magical you meet back up with your family and then…. off to an amazing beach party! Really!
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park:
That’s right! Our day didn’t stop with conferences! We gathered together for a fun Donald Duck Beach Party sponsored by GOGO Squeeze (world’s best applesauce). GOGO Squeeze made sure our day at the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was more than amazing. From food to entertainment, we were in heaven. I even “squeezed” in a few prize worthy poses of the girls slurping their GOGO Squeezes under a huge GOGO Squeeze sign.
Here are the best parts of the Donald Duck Beach Party:
The Food: Of course, there was plenty of delicious GOGO Squeeze to go around which was a light refreshing snack while out on the beach. We were served the ultimate dish of Lobster Macaroni and Cheese with Olive Oil Toasted Panko (a kid favorite), we chowed down on some Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy Treats, and devoured more cotton candy than we probably should have.☺
The Characters: We really loved how goofy Goofy was! He just plopped on the ground and started coloring, played with the kids, and took pictures with us. I got a personal picture with just the 2 of us as well! All of the character experiences at Disney are so wonderful!
The 3-D Fireworks: Never in all my life have I felt like I could reach out and touch the lights in the sky. We were given special glasses and as fireworks filled the sky, we felt like we were in the sky with them. Blues, reds, and whites flooded the sky in one of the most magical ways to end the night.
The icing on the cake, I won a YEAR worth of GOGO Squeeze!
Day two of Disney was just as incredible as day one, and I couldn’t wait to see what day three had in store for us. ☺
