Back to School Shopping at Staples: CEO Surprises Families in Store – Big kudos to Staples this year for having their CEO, Shira Goodman, (and mom of 3 kids) surprise real families while shopping for back-to-school supplies in her local Staples store. It all took place in the Westborough, Massachusetts Staples where she surprised families just like mine with a $250 Staples gift card to help with their back-to-school shopping.
I watched this video 3 times and I think what I loved about it the most was the real nature of it. This CEO is a mom herself and has surely made countless trips to Staples over the years to do her own back-to-school shopping with her kids. I think if she would have presented me with a gift card I would have cried at the generosity! Wow! I love a real video with real people that I can relate to!
I’m a Staples shopper myself and I do love that Staples associates are so helpful. From highlighters to matching stationary, they’re always so good about helping you find what you need, right when you need it. As a busy mom myself, good customer service is hugely important in my world and saves me time and money. Staples has more than 1,300 stores plus an awesome mobile app and website that ships fast and accurately. www.staples.com/backtoschool
Here are a few extra things I love about Staples:
- Low pricing – Staples will match prices PLUS offer an additional 10% to you between the difference of the Staples price and the competitor’s price, it’s called the 110% Lowest Price Guarantee. I’ve tested this myself and it is completely accurate. I just brought in the competitor’s circular and showed it to the associate. No fuss, simple to do!
- They offer great sales from week to week (Weekly Ad), especially on the ever changing list for back to school supplies. I know CDs and memory sticks weren’t on my list as a kid but they are now and Staples has them!
- Tech support – Did you know that Staples offers 30 days of tech support with any desktop, laptop or all-in-one PC purchase from Staples? I love that! This year we had our own back-to-school shopping PLUS back to campus shopping to do and knowing that I could send my 20 year old son off to the dorms at Frostburg State with a laptop that he could call for help on (if needed) is another relief – I’ve got enough to worry about!
- Staples Rewards are a great way to save money and stretch your dollars as well. Members (free to join) get 5% back in Rewards and free shipping on orders over $14.99 from Staples.com Teachers get up to 10% back on teaching and art supplies too. Plus you’ll find extra Reward promotion at times during the year that you’ll want to take advantage of where you purchase an item and receive 20%, 50% and sometimes even 100% back in Rewards! For more info see the Staples’ Rewards Program.
I am a real mom and Staples shopper myself and have been for over 15 years. This is a sponsored post, however the opinions expressed above are 100% my own.
