Avocado is an amazing food with so many uses and benefits that do everything from nourishing our bodies to dip for chips to a beauty mask for healthy & radiant skin.
The avocado is sometimes referred to as Mother’ Natures skin moisturizer. This highly fatty food is filled with healthful, good for your fats. You can eat it or wear it to reap it’s benefits. I’ve spent quite a bit of time researching healthy avocado oil uses and the more I learn the more I just love it. There’s nothing quite like it on earth. Ok so lets get on to the 12 avocado oil uses so you can work on your healthy living lifestyle too. I’m a mom and frugal living expert but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to offer healthy things for my family too.
- Dry Skin Therapy: Mash a ripe avocado with a form (or blender) and add a little oatmeal until you get a consistency that will stick to your skin without running off. Now apply to your dry skin areas (face or body) for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse.
- Drop Cholesterol: Eat a 1/2 of an Avocado every other day or every 3rd day and watch as your cholesterol falls!
- Natural Sunburn Therapy: Mix 1/4 avocado to 3/4 aloe vera and freeze in silicone ice trays. Rub directly on the affected sunburned skin for an instant healing and moisturizing treatment.
- Natural Hari Therapy for Stressed damaged Hair: Peel open an avocado and place in your blender. Add a little oil and you’ll have a deep conditioning treatment that is completely natural. Leave on hair for 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

- Anti Wrinkle: Mash an avocado and apply directly to skin for 10 minutes before bedtime each night. It helps your skin produce more collagen and reduce wrinkles and gives skin a more smooth appearance.
