Can someone please explain to me how exactly this site works? If I purchase a $100 gift certificate how much will I generally pay out of pocket?? TIA! 🙂
Well each one is different and you have to read it completely. My husband and I have purchased them many times and you can purchase different amounts. We went to a little diner in Easton, MD and loved it. We purchased a $25.00 gift certificate and I can’t remember what we paid because it was a couple months ago… But I remember it was on the 80% off sale. You then have to spend a certain amount at the restaurant. For the $25.00 gift certificate I’m thinking it was that you had to spend $35.00 (or more) which was easy being as we are a family of 6 ppl. Then when you pay you show them your internet printed coupon and they deduct from the bill the gift certificate amount. I think some servers like to see the coupon in advance. Just make sure you don’t pick a restaurant that is possibly going out of business. That is all you’ll need to remember. Does that help explain it some? I have other readers that have used them and never had a problem.
