At this point I’m telling people to “try” using a coupon on a free item unless they are denied since each manager at ever Safeway has the ability to make up their own coupon policy. My Safeway on Kent Island and Aaston Maryland allows “stacking.”

This coupon for $5.00 off frozen foods is good through March 8th. You need to purchase $15.00 in frozen foods to use this coupon. You can mix & match any frozen foods. The match ups I’ve done DO NOT include this coupon – You’ll add this on to sweeten these deals!! When you use this coupon (cut out of sale circular) calculate your $15.00 BEFORE your coupons from the club car price! If you plan to stock up do it in separate transactions to get the biggest bang for your buck!

Danimals are $1.77 with the safeway cut out coupon. I bought 2 for $1.77, had a $1 coupon off one and then each danimals packet had a pull off coupon for .55 cents, which doubled to $1.10 each. So the final price was .17 cents per packet! 🙂
Hi Lynn – Can you tell everyone please where you obtained the $1.00 off coupon so they can get it too?
The coupon came from the 2/27 Smart Source flyer (Sister Schubert’s Rolls was the picture on the front of the flyer)
But the only problem I have found is that for a lot of the coupons sites you link to, they don’t allow the coupon to be doubled even though you are including the doubled coupon in your final price. Am I missing something?
Denise – Hi! Can you send an e-mail to me and be more specifc? If a coupon says “do not double” and you take that coupon to Safeway or ACME the coupon will be doubled automatically by the register – doesn’t matter that is says “do not double.” Coupons are only doubled at ACME, Safeway, Superfresh only. Food Lion won’t double a coupon at all ever. Is this what you are talking about? Try to be specific and I’m happy to help out or explain how the registers are programmed etc so you can save the most $$Money. Keep couponing!!!

WOW! Good for you! It’s just a matter of the way the registers are programmed at different stores….. ACME will give you coupon overage – Safeway will not. Walmart will give coupon over – Target will not. Good for you and nice savings…. Now make your goal over the next several months to get your savings up to about 75% each week. If you are a Safeway shoppers, you’ll notice that Safeway has sale tags hanging for items that aren’t always listed in the sale circular – those are the ones I want everyone to start sharing all over the country so everyone can save more!!!!
