Weekend Happenings

There are so many fun things to do this weekend!  Yahoooooo!

Sunfest – Ocean City Maryland.  Now through the 26th.  FREE admission, arts, craft, inflatables, hay rides, music fun!  See my post here for more information.  People come from all over the Mid-Atlantic region to go to this event.

Troker– LIve performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, Saturday night at 6pm on the 25th. “Blending rhythms of jazz, hip hop, break beats, and cumbia, Troker breaks the mold of Mexican pop culture.”  If you have never been to an event at the Kennedy Center I highly recommend attending!  It is a beautiful, awesome building!  For more information please click here.

Saturday is Public Lands Day!  Come out and support for parks at the National, State and Local level.  For more information click here.  Every state will have local events!

Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic– Saturday 10am, Kids build a Fire Truck with siren!  My son loves to attend these workshops.  They frequently give away little freebies like milkshake coupons or coupons for $ off at Lowes.

Disney Store – Saturday, Session 1: 11am, Session 2: 12:30pm, Lizzy’s Fairy House event. Join Disney for enchanting, fairy fun to celebrate the release of Disney’s All-New Movie, Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue! Call your local store to confirm participation in this event.

Toys R Us– Saturday Noon-3pm, You’re invited to Geoffrey’s Birthday. There will be fun parades, great activities and free giveaways!  You’ll need to call your local store to make sure they are particpating.

Smithsonian – Saturday, The 6th Annual Museum Day: Go HERE, enter your information to receive your free Museum Day Ticket!

Lakeshore Learning – Saturday 11am-3pm, Pencil Pouch: Make a hanging pouch for pens, pencils and more classroom supplies.

Pottery Barn Kids – Saturday, Star Wars Crafting Event: create Yoda, TIE-Fighter, & X-wing stick puppets! Call you local store to confirm HERE.

Michaels – Saturday 10am – 2pm, American Girl event: make everything you’ll need to throw a doll-sized party!

A.C. Moore– Saturday 1-3pm, Dream Board Make & Take: celebrate BCGA’s Day for Kids.

A.C. Moore– Sunday, 1-3pm, Cricut Limited Edition Pumpkin Cartridge Event: buy a small plastic paint can and decorate it FREE!

Hancock Fabrics – Saturday, Free Demo’s: Learn how to make a Cheesecloth Ghost and Learn how to make decorative hanger covers using fleece. Contact your local store for times.
