Click here to snag a coupon for $1.00 off Triple Paste Rash Ointment. I also wanted to tell you about a little trick the hospitals use for rashes. This was shared with me by a nurse practitioner and I’ve used it on my kids and it worked wonders! You can also use this on the elderly.
Rash ointment (like Triple Paste)
Yeast Cream (Like Clotrimozole)
And a topical cortisone
Mix it all together and its an anti-inflammatory, anti fungal and rash ointment. Babies can get a yeast in their diaper area too – especially big babies with lots of fat rolls. Be careful using this ointment – topical cortisone creams are still steroids in small doses and you don’t want to use it frequently (not good for you) but if you get into a bind, have swelling on the bottom and need to bring down the inflammation, and get rid of a major rash this paste will work. My nursing friend told me that this is what they use when needed in hospitals. Pediatricians don’t tell you about it because they’re afraid of it being overused. So…. use it with caution but it your baby gets a bad rash keep this paste handy. Do you have a remedy for a diaper rash? Feel free to post it!
