Many years ago, I didn’t have a tree skirt and just couldn’t afford one, so I went to Goodwill and bought a sheet. I asked all my friends to come over with any and all of their craft items and bring the kids. Each child had a section of sheet and they all crafted a “masterpiece” that I used for years..
I was telling Maggie how I wanted to come up with a post of fun craft projects that families can do together. If you are a Stay At Home Mom, a Babysitter or maybe even a Grandparent who wants to do some fun things with the children that will cost you pennies or nothing at all, then this post is for YOU!! I have been doing some research and have come up with some links that offer free craft projects. This will surely keep the children using their brains and keep them active!! Remember that these are all meant to be made “the frugal way,” so if you need items, think about the Dollar Store, Goodwill, or Hospice. To get the items even cheaper, never pass up a yard sale because remember “one man’s junk is another women’s treasure” :))
Kids Concoctions Company
Years ago I bought this book called Kids Concoctions and it was fascinating. My kids loved doing all the fun recipes and I have added one that is a must try! We made SEVERAL batches of these for EVERY holiday.. I was finding Treasure Stones for years in my house and the kids loved to see what treasures they held..! Here is the link to Amazon for these books in case you’re interested.
