Many cashiers are unaware of what to do when a coupon is valued higher than the price of an item so having the Walgreens coupon policy handy may prove helpful if you run into any issues. When you see “with in-ad coupon” you’ll need to cut it out of your Walgreens weekly circular or show it to your cashier depending on your stores policy. Don’t forget or you won’t get the savings. There are Walgreens coupons in the weekly sale circular and in the monthly Walgreens coupon booklet. I have a question for you ladies, I just went to my Cambridge Walgreens with 4 coupons in hand printed from Coupons.com for $1 off 1 Mitchums Deodorant that is linked in your Walgreens deals for this week. They are on sale for $1.99 this week. The coupons are Manufacturer’s Coupons and have printed on them “Available at Walmart”……..the cashier tried to scan them and the register refused them, she called for the manager and he said that the coupons are only good at Walmart. I have never had this problem before today, can you shed any light on this? I very politely said that the coupon is a manufacturer’s coupon and it is merely suggested that the item is available at Walmart, it does not say redeemable only at Walmart. I was on my lunch break and running late to get back to work so I just had the items removed from my order to resolve the conflict.
