I posted this article last year but I saw a reader with the question on Facebook. The answer is YES – Walmart does accept competitors coupons!
Did you know that your local Walmart accepts competitors coupons? Ok well they do but with a twist so be sure to read on….. If the coupon states the final price of the item and they have that exact item then they will accept the coupon and match that price. For example – if you have an ACME or Rite Aid coupon for $2.00 off Tide they will not accept that coupon however if the coupon says $2.00 off of Tide with a final price of $5.99 (for example) then they will accept the coupon. Just an FYI because this may make for some easy shopping and bargains closer to the holidays. Walgreens sometimes has coupons in their weekly sale circular that notes the final price of the item (look at it sometime and you’ll see what I mean). So keep this in the back of your mind as your scanning sale circulars from the Sunday newspaper. Happy Shopping!
