We made these fun Halloween props. Homemade Halloween props can save you money and give you and your family loads of fun and memories! Check out what I did. This is a great example of how you can use Mr. Potato Head with your pumpkin or Halloween props. Get creative!
Ok first of all I had these squash leftover from my garden this year. We grew so many that we were tired of eating them by the end of the summer but these are really cheap and readily available in grocery stores all over the United States. You can do this same thing with mini pumpkins or acorn squash etc.
So we started with a good pumpkin carving tool kit and carved out a spot for the drakula teeth. I just held the teeth up to the quash and with a pen I made a light print so I knew how large to carve out the mouth. Next I inserted the fake teeth. Then I used my daughter’s Mr. Potato Head and added eyes to my squash creatures. These were so much fun to make with the kids and really easy & cheap! Get creative and have fun with your props because it will make your party or gathering so much more festive with these squash people. Plus, its a great original conversation piece.
