Eclipse Movie Release Deals & Happenings!!

When I talked to Maggie yesterday I said “Maggie we have to do some kind of post for Twilight”, she said “What is Twilight”.. This is why you are so lucky to have me :).. I Love Twilight .. so as not to disappoint the “Mom’s” 😉 out there who have the crazed Twilight buffs, I did this post for you!! Hopefully I will do my best in giving you all the information for movie buying or hitting a Release Party, that you will be proud of me…

Walmart – The 24 hour ones, Is offering the release of Eclipse at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 4th..You can purchase the movie several different ways:
= DVD – $15.96
= 2 Disc Special Edition – $17.46
= Blu-ray – $19.96
= Blu-ray & DVD Combo pk. – $26.46
= 2 pk. DVD and Destination Forks: The Real World of Twilight – $24.96
It does not say which one of these movies offers the Special Edition Commentary DVD but I am sure you will know when you get there.. Walmart is also offering a Fan Pack Giveaway, call your local store to find out if they will be offering them.  My Walmart here in Orange City, Florida was nice enough to call me back with an answer to my “Fan Pack ” Q,, My Walmart only received the Lanyards, however Asst. Manager Michael (Thanks Michael 🙂 ) said that it looks like the lanyards,  button and stickers are also included. An outside company is handling the distribution of the Fan Packs to the Walmarts so they have no control over those… If you get one let me know what is inside I may have to go just to see myself 😉

Blockbuster – Is not having anything special going on, which is a bummer because I happen to like blockbuster, but I was told at my local Blockbuster that they have reduced the price of the Door Posters to 1/2 off now $4.99!! This is awesome because on one side is Edward the other side is Jacob.  You never have to fully choose again –  you can change which team your on whenever you want ;)..Their movie prices are:
= 2 disc DVD Special Edition – $22.99
= Blu-ray Special Edition – $27.99

Best Buy – Has a few different choices for their movies but they also are offering  an Exclusive Authentic Collectible Bracelet for $5.99-$9.99when you buy the Eclipse movie in DVD or Blu-ray… Another reminder; this store has regular business hours, and it will be available Saturday when they open. A couple of the movies that Best Buy is offering says it is “Collectible Steelbook Packaging.” I called the main number at Best Buy and one of their professionals didn’t even know what the “Collectible Steelbook Packaging” was, my only guess is that it comes with a different packaging other then plastic? The movie prices are:
= Blu-ray 2 Disc  Special Edition Collectible Steelbook Packaging – $31.99
= DVD 2 Disc Special Edition Collectible Steelbook Packaging – $24.99
= Blu-ray 2 Disc Special Edition – $26.99

Target – If you can stand to wait until Saturday morning or if you are a true Twilight buff you may even decide to hit the 12:01 party and also stop by Target because they have a Special Deluxe Limited-Edition Set that is Exclusive to Target… The movie prices are:

= DVD 2 Disc Special Edition – $19.99

Movie Stop – Let’s be serious if you Love Twilight that much this is the way to go, take a bunch of your friends and make a night of it.
– The party starts at 10:00 pm till the last customer has been rung up (which I’m told last year took a couple of hours) all the goodies stop at 12:00 am
– Pizza & Soda
– Auctioning off  Bella and Edward Stand/e
– Free Raffling of Eclipse items
– Movie  played in back of store with popcorn
– I’m told this is a great night and everyone has a blast!!
Last year I’m told MovieStop even had a DJ but the young man I spoke with tonight (Thanks Clint for the Great info) didn’t know if one was planned this time around… MovieStop if your reading this your Fans want the DJ !!!!
