If you want to have frugal Halloween decorations to make I have some really cute ideas for you. All of these decorations involve simple orange tissue paper, are frugal to make and best of all they are fun and super kid friendly! I made them with my 3 yr old and 9 yr old so these are great preschool fun activities for Halloween. We’ll make scary Halloween eyes in your window, & toilet tissue pumpkins for your bathroom. I have some more idea but I’ll put them in another post, another day.
Scary Halloween eyes in your windows:
What you need:
Cut eye holes in your black paper.
Cut a piece of your orange tissue paper and tape it over the holes in your black paper.
Now add a small black circle to your orange tissue paper for eyes.
Crack your glow stick and hang the black paper in your window (poke a hole at the top or use a hole punch) and then hang your glow stick behind the paper. Do this in each window of your house and you’ll have glowing eyes watching out! Fun, easy and frugal! If you don’t want to use the glow stick you can still place these in your window and they’ll make cute lighted eyes during the day.
