What do you think of my Harvest party food ideas? We went to a little Fall Harvest Party this weekend and this is the dish that I made. Check out my super easy instructions!
1st thing you need to do is cut the top out of your pumpkin and scrape out the insides to remove all of the seeds and stringy stuff that goes inside of a pumpkin. Wash it off then place in the freezer for 24 hours prior to making your fall harvest party tray. This will keep the dip that you place in your pumpkin cold during the party so it doesn’t seem “old” after 30 to 45 minutes. (that is why my mini pumpkin looks frosty in some of the images)
Using a large serving platter add all of your cut vegetables.
Now add your meats and cheeses. I suggest salami and a pepperoni or a summer sausage.
I used Sabra Hummus for dip but you can use any dip you like.
Place your dip into a baggie (like a Ziploc), clip the end with kitchen scissors, & pipe it into the pumpkin shell.
If you spoon it in you won’t get the same effect.
