If you or your kids or spouse are having an issue with wearing your shoes so long every day that your feet STINK when you finally take your shoes off then you have to check out my easy recipe for this bath-shower scrub for foot odor! Its 100% natural and you have the ingredients in your home right now – I’m sure!
Best cure for stinky, smelly feet! This may seem “sticky” but trust me it isn’t at all! I’ve used this many times and its absolutely wonderful and SUPER frugal. My husband can spend 15 to 18 hours in his shoes and this recipe for foot odor works miracles. If you like a cool clean feeling on your feet then add 1 tablespoon camphor to this mixture for that cool kinda Sea Breeze feelings. Its wonderful!
- 1 cup olive oil (light, dark, extra virgin etc – doesn’t matter)
- 2 cups Domino Sugar (or C&H Sugar for you west coast readers)
- 2 lemons
Take a bowl and and pour in your sugar and oil. Now cut 2 lemons in half and squeeze the juice from both into the mixture. Mix and pour into some old reusable container like an old body butter container or something like that. Scrub feet in bath shower with mixture, shower as usual and smell the difference when you get out. I’ve been making this mixture for my husband for years and it does wonders! Optional: Add Tea tree Essential oil – 1 tsp to the mixture for bacteria fighting invigorating feel. Tea Tree essential oil has natural strong antibacterial properties.
Important: For your shoes – buy cheap (can be green or black or any kind of tea) bags and place 3 tea bags in each shoe and keep in a closed in area over night (if your shoes will fit in a plastic bag you can close all the better). This will soak up odor so you don’t have an endless cycle! I suggest using the scrub above the night you also place the tea bags in your shoes for maximum effect! ☺
Note: Use common sense – don’t slip when you get out of the bath or shower. Take precautions for your bathroom. ☺

Does the foot odor go away disappear? It’s a temporary solution to just to get rid of the smell at the moment?
