How to Use Competitors Coupons at Walmart

If you are out and about with your family each week living a frugal life then you’ll find coupons on a regular basis.  Well did you know that Walmart accepts competitors coupons? Its true!   Most people are completely unaware that you can use those competitors coupons at Walmart stores! Its a great way to save. Let me explain…..

Lots of stores offer store coupons like Family Dollar, Food Lion, Dollar General, Target etc. Well you can use those coupons when shopping at your local Walmart. So maybe now you’re wondering what are the benefits to using competitors coupons at Walmart? Well sometimes Walmart offers a lower price on products so if you use a coupon from a competitor at your local Walmart store you may be able to snag a really great deal! Check out my example below.

Above is a Food Lion coupon for $3 off of an $8 purchase of anything in the meat department of Food Lion. Well this coupon was only valid for a week and although its a great high value coupon, meat may not have been on sale that week at Food Lion. Or, maybe you received this coupon via email from Food Lion however you weren’t heading in the direction of Food Lion that week but you needed to stop by Walmart so then you could use that coupon there. Its that simple!

There are 2 important things to remember about using competitors coupons are Walmart; 1) The coupon must state a final price of an item or specific wording on cents off 2) Walmart will not accept a coupon for a percentage off (like say 40% off produce).
