Coupons & Frugal Talk

We’re nearing the end of the month and you know what that means.  You need to go through coupons.com and print out any coupons that you know you will use.  Sometimes the coupons make it to the next month and sometimes they are gone by the 1st.

What can we expect into the new year?  Expect to see sales on exercise equipments, dieting books and low calorie/low fat foods.  February will bring mega candy sales again and once we near the spring you’ll see fish hit a rock bottom low going into the season of Lent before Easter.  That would be a good time to stock up.

In a few more days Christmas products will be marked down 75% – that is when I’d buy.  I always pick up at least 1 new item for next year and depending on the sales I find, it may be several items.  Don’t be shy about picking up the phone and asking if your local Walmart or Target etc has marked their items down to 75% yet.  Whatever you do, don’t go out of your way for a deal!  The price of gas is too high to do that.
