I made these Candy Corn Jello desserts tonight. If you’re looking for fun kids Halloween dessert recipe ideas then you’ll want to try these frugal fruit filled jello cups filled with mandarin oranges. They were delicious and so much fun to make. I made them today with my 4 year old and they even passed the “picky” test from my 10 year old who turns his nose up at 90% of EVERYTHING!
Ingredients you’ll need for Candy Corn Jello
- Lemon Jello
- Orange Jello
- Sugar
- Coconut Milk
- Whipped Topping
- Candy Corn (to garnish the top)
Make your lemon Jello according to directions and pour in the bottom of your clear dessert dishes. Allow to set. Make your orange Jello according to direction but use 1/4 less water than called for. Add mandarin oranges. Pour cooled (but not set) orange Jello with fruit onto set lemon Jello. Allow to set
Make your coconut jello mixture and add to top after your orange Jello has set. Top with whipped topping and a candy corn piece. Coconut Jello Mixture: 1.5 Cups Coconut Milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 3 packets Knox unflavored gelatin. . Mix and microwave about 60 seconds (enough to warm it and melt in the sugar and the Knox)
Enjoy!
