I have more fun ideas for July 4th Dessert Recipes this year! I love cooking with my 5 year old and we made some fun July 4th S’mores! Come check out the my simple s’mores recipe that is easy enough to make with kids yet yummy enough to serve to everyone!
Now you can just leave out a s’mores tray for people to make their own s’mores or you can make them before hand and have them all ready at your gathering. S’mores are a fun part of any July 4th gathering and remind family of summer and camping so I always like to include them!
Ingredients Needed:
- Graham Crackers
- Marshmallows
- White Chocolate to Melt or Wilton Candy Melts
- Chocolate to melt or Wilton Chocolate Melts
- Sprinkles (red, white and blue)
Melt chocolate and add to your graham cracker split in half (I only add to one side)
Melt your marshmallows either toasted over a campfire or in your microwave maybe 15 to 30 seconds (enough to become soft and puffy but not burnt). Then, place your toasty warm marshmallow on the chocolate and add the top graham cracker.
Now Dip your s’mores into the white chocolate (or Wilton candy melts then add sprinkles – fun, Enjoy!
