If you’re looking for something easy, yet absolutely delicious, that you’re guests will rave over, yet barely took any time at all to make, well then I have the perfect recipe for you! Cranberry Sausage Stuffing – it’s a HIT every year with my entire family and now I’m known for this dessert all over town. I have lots of Christmas dinner ideas & Thanksgiving dinner ideas so stay tuned!
Recipe for Cranberry Sausage Stuffing:
Sausage (I prefer a sage kind)
Stove Top
Can of Cranberry
Butter (optional)
Fry up the ground sausage and drain off any excess grease. Add water, stuffing mix, 3/4 can cranberry jelly. Mix well and form into balls or bake in a plain baking dish. Freeze or refrigerate (or bake if you are ready to bake). Drizzle with butter or margarine when you bake at 360 Degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Serve warm.
These freeze or refrigerate really well if you want to prepare thi dish in advance. That will save you time on Christmas day or Thanksgiving day PLUS many people run into the problem of their oven being full so this will help alleviate that issue as well. You could also just plop this is a casserole dish and bake and forget about forming them into balls like I do. Do not add any additional extra water as you would if you were preparing the Stove Top Stuffing and following the directions on the box. Enjoy!
