With Mother’s Day being just around the corner I know that many of us like to return to the Bible for inspiration knowing what a gift it is to grow a baby inside and have a mother, which is why I though it appropriate to write about Bible Verses for Mother’s Day.
If you happen to be, or your children happen to be making a homemade card for Mother’s Day for you or your mom these are great quotes to include and they help us to remember who we are, where we draw our strength and where we are going. Sometimes in life, the most simple things are exactly what we need to hear. The same is true for our mothers. I look back and wonder how in the world my mother raised 6 children and kept her sanity! I have 4 kids and there are just days that are hard.
There will always be things that you remember your mom saying to you through the years that brought you wisdom and comfort, although at the time you may not have realized it. As my oldest 2 are in their late teens I find myself saying some of the exact same things like; It doesn’t matter what you do for a living as long as you are an honest and good person.
Now as an adult and mother I find myself turning to my mother’s words of wisdom and every year I dig for new Bible verses for Mother’s Day;
