It’s that time of year again and so I have more awesome back to school poems for you! This school poem is to the tune of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas and it’s cute and fun for the kiddos and parents out there this back to school year!
Back To School Poems
T’was the night before school and all through the house,
No one was sleeping, not even a mouse.
My sister and I were dread waking up the next day,
Hoping the school year would not start the next day,
I was in my night shirt and my sister in her gown, |
Wee were just settling down with big, grumpy frowns.
While drifting away I, experienced quite the dream,
Of all the things in school that could be fun or so they seem,
There were sports, and art, music, and friends, clubs, and entertainment for all to attend.
When I woke up the next morning, not a frown in sight,
I decided I was going to take the advice of the night,
And enjoy this day of happiness and light.
