The Washington Auto Show is an absolutely amazing car show that provides family friendly fun! There are car driving simulators, all the new cars and trucks you can think of and even exotics and prototypes that haven’t been released on the market yet! If you love anything with an engine you’ve got to check out this show. I was lucky enough to be able to attend this great show during the media day and I can’t wait to share my experience with you!
One of my top favorite things about the show was being able to hear all of the CEOs of the companies speak about the new and exciting products of 2017. We were able to hear about the new Hyundai IONIQ as well as how new autonomous (self-driving) cars are expected to take to the roads within the next 10 years. On top of that, you can get an up close and personal look at the vehicles. You can sit in the driver’s seat of every vehicle from the new z06 Corvette to a Toyota Sienna, even all the new pick-up trucks and police vehicles!
This allows you the ability to check out all the new vehicles BEFORE going to the dealership and being pressured by sales associates. You can see all the features on your favorite vehicles and even find local dealers in your area if you want to purchase a similar vehicle. Not only can you check out vehicles but there are plenty of contests to enter with all kinds of fun prizes, including a NEW CAR!
Not only can you do all of these amazing things, but you can check out classic cars and even a new Chevy Colorado ZH2, one of the United States Army’s newest vehicles! All of this cool new technology even includes a hydrogen powered Hyundai engine.
The Washington Auto Show offers fun for the whole family, and its conveniently located at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Be sure to take a day and go down to the Washington Auto Show!
