Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant- Review – If you want to escape the everyday hustle and bustle of Baltimore, we got a Hawaiian experience right in Baltimore at Roy’s Hawaiin Fusion. With specially priced bar bites, signature cocktails, wines, and local craft beers, Roy’s has not only a Hawaiian feel, but a modern feel.
My family and I had a really amazing time there. Not only did we enjoy the food, but we also enjoyed the atmosphere. If you visit Roy’s, here is what you can expect:
Hawaiian Feel
What I liked about Roy’s is that even though we were still in Baltimore, we felt like we had taken a plane and flown to a restaurant in Hawaii. With the menu using Hawaiian language and Hawaiin food options, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. My kids loved it and they learned a lot about the Hawaiian language just from dinnner.
Kids Menu for Picky Eaters
When you go into a restaurant that has food from another place, you kind of expect the kids to complain. My 10-year old is an extremely picky eater, so I was a little worried she wouldn’t like anything on the menu. But, to my surprise Roy’s has a fabulous Keiki (kids in Hawaiian) menu for picky eaters. My daughter had the braised short ribs, and she loved them! Other options include:
- Crispy chicken fingers
- Crunchy shrimp sushi roll
- RJ’s favorite pasta (mac & cheese)
- Teriyaki Chicken
Delicious Food for Adults
Not only is it a great experience with an easy menu for kids, but Roy’s dinner selections were beyond delicious. My son had lobster and mac & cheese. The lobster was a great size, plump, juicy, and delectable. I had a Caesar Salad and soup. You don’t expect much from a salad, but this salad was worth trying.
Of course, when you go out with kids you have to try out the dessert menu. Let me tell you, it was to die for. I could have gained 20 pounds just eating off the dessert menu if I let myself. Here are some of our favorites:
- Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- Roy’s Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle
- Raspberry Coulis
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
