I think this is a pretty good week for ACME shopping! Lots of coupons matched up well with the sales – especially on the Essential Everyday brands. There are some really HOT deals there!

That starkist did not double!! I was so excited that i fould this deal on my own (that only means Im learning and you taught me so good) I bought ten packages.
The cashier was like i wish i was good at coupons and we were talking and stuff about how you helped me. I even told him with the coupon doubling i will get all the tuna for free. He didnt say anything but I noticed afterward it didnt double. And of course my receipt blow out the window on the way home. I am so sad about this my kids love tuna. Have they changed the policy? Please Please let me know, cause it will change my shopping stragity 🙁

I work at Acme as a cashier…our policies did not change (as far as my store goes anyway). The starkist should have doubled, and if it didn’t then you should have said something while it was ringing up. The only way they would not double was if the coupon said “DO NOT DOUBLE”. If it doesn’t say that, then Acme doubles it up. 🙂 Hope that helps.
Hi – Its Maggie. Cheryl and Gloria…. Unfortunately that coupon did state “do not double” but frequently the cashier/store will double the coupon anyway. Depends how its programmed into the ACME computers. Their official policy is to follow the coupon instructions but some stores are known to double all coupons regardless of “do not double” listed on the coupon. I know what you mean about tuna fish…. quick and easy and kids usually WILL eat it! Its still a pretty good deal even when the coupon doesn’t double though when you add in the catalina coupon offer. Cheryl since you work at ACME can you help us keep up to date on unadvertised sales or clearance? If you ever find a sale you can text me at 410-490-4051 so I can let others know. 😉 Keep couponing!!! I can try to keep you up to date, but a lot of the clearance items varies from store to store, so my clearance may be different then other stores. But I know (off the top of my head) that there are 2012 graduation napkins/plates on sale for .25 cents and a few acme spices on clearance right now. As for the unadvertised deals, if I see any while I’m scanning items I’ll be sure to let yall know. 🙂
Also, side note, this blog made me want to start my own. So I did. 🙂 Haha, just a site where I’m posting all my shopping sprees.
