Did you know that January is National Oatmeal month?  Well being as it is soooo cold outside in the month of January I’m not surprided! More oatmeal is consumed in January than any other month. Oatmeal is consumed in cereal (Quaker Oat Squares, Granola), oatmeal cookies, granola bars, and plain (cooked style or instant). It is full of nutrition and fiber – the soluble and the insoluble type which is great for your body and helps to control cholesterol.
