Here are my weekly Safeway Coupon Match ups good through Tuesday January 24th.If you haven’t seen the new Safeway coupon policy you may like to read it here. Safeway in my area doubles coupons up to 99¢ so these match ups are done with that in mind.(some Safeway stores don’t double) New here – click here for Coupon Lingo to understand these initials. At this point I’m telling people to “try” using a coupon on a free item unless they are denied since each manager at every Safeway has the ability to make up their own coupon policy. My Safeway on Kent Island and Easton, Maryland allows “stacking.” I have also used a coupon on a free item with no problem. The only Safeway I am aware of to date (a reader notified me) that will not allow “stacking” is in Arnold, Maryland. Here are some new Walmart printable grocery coupons. Don’t forget that Walmart will price match. To price match at your local Walmart all you need to do is bring in a sale circular of a local competitor (in full with dates the sale is applicable) and show it to the cashier before she scans your item. Tell him/her you’d like to price match and show the circular with the exact item and the dates the sale is applicable. Its really easy and if the cashier has a question they’ll call over a manager to approve the price match. A Walmart price match doesn’t take long and its usually done in a matter of seconds.

Quite a few new high value printable coupons have been released from Hasbro & Playskool for games and toys. Print now! There is also the possibility that some stores (like Walmart & Target) may have over purchased for the holidays and have moved these toys to clearance enabling you to score a bargain. My local Walmart and Target over the past few weeks have had a pretty large clearance section of great toys that are market down because these toys are only purchased for holiday sales and aren’t regularly sold the remainder of the year. That means you’ll have the opportunity to score some great bargains…. Last week I saw the Baby Alive on clearance and the Play Do Mega pack on price cut. Two of my little ones celebrate early spring birthdays so I’m snagging toys now while they’re cheap at Walmart and Target.

Well I am attempting a healthy Super Bowl Menu, Cranberry Shortbread Bars look delicious, and maybe no one will realize it’s better for them 🙂 These bars are a great finger food made with Post Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch Cereal. I will be changing my recipe a little by omitting regular and adding fat & sugar free ingredients, just to make it a little more healthier.
