Candy Canes Christmas Gift Ideas – Gum anyone? Check out these candy cane Christmas sleighs that I made with my 6 year old daughter!!! They make the perfect, adorable homemade Christmas gift and they are so useful! Who doesn’t love to chew gum? Many people like to keep a pack in the car and one in their purse so this is sure to be a Christmas present that will get used and appreciated!
I think my favorite thing about these candy cane sleighs is that anyone can make them – young or old they’re relatively inexpensive and fun!
Materials needed for your Candy Cane Sleigh:
- 2 Candy Canes
- 2 packs Wrigleys Gum
- 6 packages Juicy Fruit Bubble gum
- Package LifeSaver Candy Canes
- a small touch of hot glue
- Ribbon (bow at the top is optional)
Directions:
Add a small line of glue to your wrapped candy cane (do not take out of the plastic wrap). Next make the base of your sleigh with 2 packages of the green Wrigleys gum.
On top of the green Wrigley gum add 3 packages of Juicy fruit. On top of those 3 then add 2 packages. On top of those two packages add one on the very top.
Wrap with ribbon to secure. Bow at the top is optional. These are fabulous for table place setting! They gift the perfect amount of color along with a great conversation starter at the meal!
