Life is so funny…. the more wisdom you gain as you age, the better and easier life becomes. I remember leaving high school and feeling like I didn’t know much of anything…. I didn’t know I could have made a small down payment and purchased a home on credit, I’d never opened a checking account or written a check so I didn’t know how, I wasn’t always a good friend, I didn’t know how to purchase a new car…. The list went on and on! There were so many real world experiences that I had to learn by doing instead of being taught best practices in school (or at home for that matter). Maybe that is one of the reasons I’m homeschooling. I want to better prepare my kids for life, share my wisdom and help them to be happy people, confident consumers and well adjusted.
