Here are the match ups for Giant Foods good through Thursday October 27th.  My store doubles up to 99¢ so a coupon with a value of 75¢ is equal to $1.50.  Giant will only double 4 like coupons and then the 5th coupons is at face value so if you plan to stock up go through the line twice (or hit the self check out like I do)!  Some stores double only 3 coupons and some up to 5 coupons – Check with your local store.  Click here to read the Giant Store shopping Guide.  Remember…  the accept competitors coupons! Barber Foods Stuffed Chicken Printable Coupon

Click here to snag a coupon for $1.00 off of 2 Barber Foods Stuffed Chicken products.  I LOVE their Chicken Cordon Bleu!  It kind of runs on the expensive side but I’ve tried to make my own cordon bleu in the past and failed miserably!  Plus….  Its still a quick meal and CHEAPER than eating out! The large box (they come frozen) is on sale this week (starting Friday November 4th) at Giant for $10.99.  This box has 6 of the stuffed chicken breasts so for me, if I’m in a hurry with a family of 6 (I have 4 kids) this is still cheaper than running through a drive through window for a meal.

These microwave and bake well and then all I’d have to do it make a side of something quick so I could still potentially have dinner for my family of 6 for about $12.00 to $14.00 with pretty much no cooking involved!  When I have to run kids to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol etc that works for me! 🙂  A smaller family could get 2 meals out of this box.

Turkey Price This Week

I just wanted to point out published Turkey prices this week since Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  I also suggest that when turkeys are at the rock bottom lowest price in your area that you buy 5 of them (if you can squeeze 5 in your freezer) and that way you’ll have 1 to heat your home and eat for all of the winter months!  That 1 turkey per month will cover your for;

  1. November (Thanksgiving)
  2. December
  3. January
  4. February
  5. March

Those of you in the southern states could probably do away with the March turkey since it warms up quickly down there!

Safeway  – Butterball or Shady Brook Turkeys 99¢ per lb

ACME 49¢ per lb for a basted turkey or 99¢ per lb for Butterball

Giant 58¢ per lb for Shady Brook Farms turkey

Safeway has noted on the front page of their sale circular a “Guaranteed Lowest Price” clause and will match anyone’s advertised turkey price (frozen turkeys only).  Remember that if you are a Walmart Shopper that you can always price match at Walmart too (it saves time so you don’t have to shop with 2 different stores)

Note: fresh & green’s and Food Lion did not have prices for turkeys listed in their sale circulars this week.
