I’ve received several e-mails over the last month about pet savings  – mostly for cats and dogs.  I do have a category in the right side bar for pet savings and you can also click here for discounted Pet Medications.  If you find any other pet bargains please share them with the Family Frugal Fun Group.  Here is a little story that will make you think about saving money on pet meds….  My son’s Siberian Husky had Lymes Disease last summer.  They offered to fill my prescription at the Vets office and it was going to be $28.00.  Instead I requested a written prescription, took the prescription to CVS and received a $25.00 gift card for getting it filled there and I paid way less than $28.00!  So don’t forget that if you are getting a presciprtion for a pet you can take that to any pharmacy just like a human prescription.  Target comes out with a coupon for aFREE $10.00 Target gift card with any new or transferred prescription about every 6 weeks or so.  This would be another great way to extend your savings this year if you are paying for family pets!
