Here are some friendly reminders for savings big;
Office Depot: Recycle your (or your neighbors or co-workers) toner and ink cartridges each month to the tune of $2.00 each – up to 20 total and you’ll get Work Life Rewards (FREE loyalty program at Office Depot) with Office Depot (Office Depot $Money). The $2.00 back is all year round. At certain times during the year (infrequently) they’ll run a promotion where you will get $5.00 back per toner/ink cartridge up to 20 total.
Remember that Office Depot will accept competitors coupons from Staples!!! So, be sure to sign up for the Staples Rewards program too (FREE).
Walmart:Will price match!!! (and Target) What does that mean…. It means if you are stopping by Walmart and don’t have time to do much shopping, all you need to do is bring in the entire sale circular from another store, show it to the cashier at check out (before they scan your item) and request a price match. They will then sell the exact item to you at the other stores sale price!. A couple exceptions… No buy 1 get 1 FREE items can be price matched. But, for example, a while back at Target (it could have been Safeway or anywhere however) the movie Eat, Pray, Love was on sale $9.00. You could have requested a price match right at the register in your local Walmart and received the $9.00 price (instead of the Walmart $15.99 price)! If you don’t have time to go from store to store its a nice quick, easy and convenient option.
Rewards and Loyalty Programs: Sign up everyone in your home and use a separate e-mail address. You won’t want to bog down your personal e-mail and this way if you have a specific e-mail that you just use for bargain hunting, e-new letters, coupons and loyalty programs you won’t have to scroll past personal e-mails etc etc. You’ll just check your bargain e-mail when you are ready to shop that week or go out to eat and need a coupon etc. See my Top 12 Tips for Couponing or any of the other tips in the footer of this blog. If you are a visual learner see my You Tube page here and watch a video.
If you still aren’t saving big and want to know what else you need to do, consider a couponing seminar. I only charge $12.00 for a highly informative seminar and I waive the fee for any family who truly is unable to pay the $12.00 fee (like if you are facing foreclosure etc)! I’m willing to travel to your town too – you just gather the people. My next event is at the Easton Church of God, Easton, MD. The next one thereafter is Baltimore City. The seminars are well worth a drive to learn how to save, how the registers are programmed and where to shop…. Register on the Family Frugal Fun Facebook page in the top left side bar under “events.”
Have fun and keep couponing….. It really can change your life!
