LowesBuildandGrow workshops..Bring the kids into Lowes this Saturday 1/08/2011 @ 10:00am and have them make this Fun Game Box. This looks like a good game to keep in the car. Check with your local Lowes to confirm that your store will have this workshop.

LakeShore Learning– On Saturday January 8, 2011 11-3 LakeShore will have there FREE craft clinic, this week the kids will be making The Ice Skate Lacer.  This lacing board is double the fun! Kids just paint & decorate-then lace it up again & again!!

Michael’s The Knack FREE Family Event- Pinewood Derby Finishing Workshop on January 8, 2011 10 am-noon. Bring in your racer and add a little flair! We’ll provide an assortment of cool decals for you to use on your car, plus all the materials you need to make a colorful pennant to help you cheer on your team on race day.

Thanks for the tip Charles and Amy – They are Christian “extreme couponers” in Jacksonville Florida and take advantage of any and all ways to save money.  You can see Amy in a video we made back over the summer on “how couponing can change your life.”  They have paid down $13 thousand in debt by living frugally and hope to be completely free from debt in just a few years.  Amy saves money by couponing and donates to her local pet shelter and any friends and neighbors along the way that have been affected by the down turn in the economy.  Way to go!
