As a frugal living expert I always like to see family and friends taking advantage of FREE events.  Well every night at 6pm the Kennedy Center in Washington DC offers FREE performances for families.  You’ll need to arrive about1 hour early to get a seat.  The adjacent parking garage cost approximately $20.00 (but you could park somewhere else or catch the metro into DC).  This building is absolutely gorgeous and a must see if you’ve never attended an event at the Kennedy Center!  Its also a great way to offer your children a great cultural education and get them into the arts.
