It seems like it gets harder and harder to find good appropriate gifts for kids these days. Especially for moms like me that are more interested in experiences than “things” and outdoor adventures verses indoor gifts. Years ago, when I was in college, I remember a study that my professor shared with us. It was one of those tidbits of information that just kind of sticks with you and you never forget. He asked us a question and we had to take a vote. The question was, “Do adults recall more memories from childhood from the indoors or outdoors?” Well, we gathered in groups and discussed and pondered for 20 minutes before we had to vote….
