Cooking bacon in the oven is so easy and the best part is that it’s a HUGE time saver. There’s no need to stand there and turn and flip.
I’ve been cooking bacon in the oven for a few years now and I’m always amazed when I find people that are still getting grease burns flipping and turning bacon in their fry pan. Not to mention that the grease build up in your kitchen over the months and years is horrible. Well watch my video on cooking bacon in your oven and give it a try and tell me what you think. Once I pop my bacon in the oven I can make other things or take care of the kids. I think you’ll be hooked on the convenience factor just like I am. ☺
Here’s what it looks like when it’s done. Saving time is one of my many frugal living kitchen tips!

Maggie,
Thought it was a great idea… then realized what it does to the
INSIDE of your oven!! Grease splattered everywhere, and the smell
stays even longer! Maybe one should cover the bacon some way?
Much easier to clean around a stove than an oven!

I haven’t run into that issue and I’ve been baking bacon a LONG time now. Anyone else care to chime in that has had that issue or not had that issue?

I will try this and cover it. Bacon grease gets all over my counter top by my Jenn Air grill. Thanks!
