I’m still amazed at all of the people that don’t know about cooking bacon in the oven! Once you try this you’ll never go back to standing over a fry pan, flipping your bacon, getting grease burns from the pan grease popping on you, or cleaning the grease and grime out of your kitchen from years of grease build up.
I love bacon and so does everyone in my family. With 4 kids and a husband I just don’t have time to fry up 2lbs of bacon for a Sunday morning brunch so long ago I started cooking bacon in the oven. Such a time saver!!!! I’m a frugal living expert and frugal living is about saving money AND time so you can do the things in life that are important to you – family and fun.

That’s funny… I just posted making a batch of scrambled eggs in the oven. Between the two of us, we have a great breakfast! LOL On these cold days, I sure don’t mind turning the oven on. 🙂

I started cooking bacon in the oven over the summer and I’m never going back to the way I used to! It’s simpler and it comes out great!
I’ve been doing this since my kids were little. Was always afraid the kids would hit the stove and get burned with bacon grease.
And it cook more evenly.
