Cowboy Club of Sedona Arizona – Well if you haven’t heard the news yet, we just recently finished an awesome vacation in Sedona Arizona. So I’m wondering…. Are you Derringer brave partner? Then pull up a seat for some rattlesnake or another Western seasonal favorite at the Cowboy Club in Sedona Arizona.
No, my family was not Derringer brave, we did not eat the rattlesnake, but we saw a lot of other people ordering it and LOVED it. We went with the onion rings instead (no regrets!!!) I did have the vegetable pot pie which was delicious, my husband had a well cooked steak delicious enough to satisfy every cow hand.
The traditions and hospitality of the Old West are served along with delicious “high desert” cuisine which my family did partake in. I had their delicious creme brulee and the kids had yummy, tummy pleasing ice cream.
The Cowboy Club has been making history since 1946 when it was the center of town as the Oak Creek tavern. With famous visitors like John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, the wooden walls echo the talk and laughter of many of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars and boasts the birthplace of the Cowboy Artists of America.
The spirit of the Old West tavern still lives on in the Cowboy Club of Sedona Arizona. Their blend of history and quality food will fill your belly full of goodness and your heart full of the Old West. Who knows, Maybe next time my family will be Derringer brave enough to try that rattlesnake.
