Since I’m on regular medications for my thyroid disorder and I know other reader take regular meds too, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about some of the CVS pharmacy programs. Did you know that you can transfer your prescription on line to CVS? Yep – as long as you know the info it really easy that easy. Modern technology!
You can also refill and track your prescription with the CVS online Pharmacy. Now here’s my favorite CVS perk – you get $5 in Extra Care Bucks for every 10 prescriptions you get filled at your local CVS. Always be sure to scan your CVS Extra Care card – even when picking up a simple prescription.
The coupon center at your local CVS gives out coupons every day and many times they are personalized CVS coupons based on your shopping habits. After filling a prescription for my mother a while back, I gave them my CVS Extra Care Card to scan and the next week when I was in CVS at the coupon center I received a coupon for a FREE $25 CVS gift card with any new or transferred prescription. Nice offer huh? So lesson learned – ALWAYS scan your CVS card. Oh, and be sure to scan it as many times as necessary until it says “no more coupons today.” Some people just scan it once and walk away but different weeks have different promotion so some weeks you’ll find that you can scan it 4 or 5 times and get different offers.
