DIY Christmas Gifts

I have a really easy DIY Christmas Gift idea with an easy cookie recipe. This was so easy I made it with my 3 year old which was the best part! When family & friends are handed a gift from my daughter and she boasts how she made them it just lights up the world!  Plus be sure to check out my DIY Sugar Body scrub recipe!  Its awesome and so easy and cost effective!

Well you know I have a love of s’mores…… There’s just something comforting about the combination of graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow. So I’ve made s’more Christmas cookies! YUM! Here’s my s’more Christmas cookie recipe for a really easy DIY Christmas that is fun to make with kids.

Ingredients:

Graham Crackers (like Nabisco)
Hershey Chocolate chips or Wilton chocolate candy melts
Wilton Red candy melts
Wilton white candy melts
Kraft mini marshmallows

Melt your chocolate (microwave method or double broiler method is fine) and cover your graham cracker (one side only) in chocolate.

Place on parchment paper (to keep from a sticky mess)

Add Kraft mini marshmallows while the chocolate is still “wet”  Repeat.

Melt your red candy melts and then drizzle on the chocolate & marshmallow squares. Then melt your white candy melts and drizzle.

If you’re heading to a part then I use a Wilton Carrier to transport!  I love the multi uses of this carrier.  If you’re using this as a DIY Christmas gift then find a nice Christmas container for your cookies.  Some people prefer to line the container with parchment then add your cookies (up to you)
