I found this absolutely adorable recipe on KookyCarolsKitchenConcoctions and I had to share it! Its cute, frugal, its Easter and its FUN! I know the kids are going to love this so we’re not going to wait until Easter to make these Easter pretzel rods we’re going to make them on Palm Sunday after church! What fun!
Recipe: Easter Pretzel Rods
Summary: These pretzel rods are dipped in caramel, rolled in M&M’s, then drizzled with milk chocolate and white chocolate. They make a fantastic Easter gift.
Ingredients
- Utz Pretzel rods
- Bag of Caramels
- Bag of M&M’s
- Melting cocoa chocolates
- Melting white chocolates
Instructions
- Unwrap caramel and melt down on a low heat.
- Place M&M’s in a bowl that will be easy to dip pretzel into.
- Dip pretzel in caramel letting excess drain off back into melting pot leaving enough room on pretzel to hold it.
- Dip into M&M’s and coat pretzel.
- Let dry on wax paper or parchment paper.
- Melt cocoa chocolate on low heat in heavy saucepan and drizzle over pretzel.
- Let dry.
- Melt white chocolate over low heat in heavy saucepan and drizzle over pretzel.
- Let dry.
