Easy Pumpkin Bread Pudding Recipe:
- Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Bread
- Eggs 6 (1 whole egg and 5 egg yolks, Giant Brand)
- Cream (heavy Giant Brand)
- Butter 1.5 sticks (Giant Brand)
- Vanilla 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1 Cup
Directions: Separate 5 of your eggs as this recipe calls for 6 eggs – 1 whole egg and 5 egg yolks. Mix your sugar, eggs, vanilla and cream in your sauce pan (eliminates getting another bowl dirty) Allow to sit. Melt 1.5 sticks of butter in your pan (you can use 2 loaf pans, a 9X13 pan or casserole dish – whatever you like. Break up your loaf of Pumpkin Bread and toss into the butter. After it’s all broken up and tossed into butter mix it to circulate butter all over the pumpkin bread.
Begin cooking your other mixture in your sauce pan on medium to high heat stirring frequently so as not to burn. As soon as it begins to thicken and chance slightly in consistency remove from heat and pour over your buttered pumpkin bread.
Bake in your oven on 350 Degrees until firm and set but without burning. You can bake this recipe however I suggest a double dutch which is placing your item in another pan of water and baking it that way. Usual approximate baking time is 30 to 50 minutes depending on size and type of pan. Enjoy – it’s a HUGE hit with my family and absolutely wonderful!
