Just in case you can’t make it here are the dates for the rest of the year so you can plan your fun, educational trip:
We are members of the Franklin Institute. Sometimes, maybe once or twice a year, membership goes on sale for half price. Membership is about $99 for a family and right now you’ll get 2 FREE tickets to their new “The genius of Leonardo da Vinci” exhibit in from Italy, starting in February. The exhibit runs from Feb 5th to May 22nd. We love trips to Philly – its one of our favorite cities!
Now here is our favorite thing about the Franklin Institute… You purchase a membership and the Franklin Institute offers reciprocity to other science museums so you and your family receive FREE! entrance into other science museums ALL over the country! You can find the list of the hundreds of participating museums on their web site. Last spring we headed over to Pittsburgh and my kids entered the Carnegie Science Museum FREE! Its a hands on museum and they were able to get in the new Sports Works Zone FREE! Its next to Heinz Field for you Steelers Fans! That offers everything sports and more! My feet hurt so bad at the end of the day I was beggin’ them to leave! Anyway… its a FREE way to have more frugal fun with your family -which is what Family Frugal Fun is all about!
