If you’re a Giant Foods Shopper you’ll want to learn how to REALLY save this week! Its my Giant Foods shopping strategy and it’ll save you a bundle! This frugal Giant Foods shopping strategy is good at Giant of Maryland, Giant of Washington DC, Giant of Virginia and Giant of Delaware too!
Ok…. This week Walgreens has some very specific things on sale starting tomorrow – February 24th, 2013. To get you thinkin’ about how you can save at your local Giant Foods check this out and for more ideas come to my “frugal school” here. This is my last one scheduled this year for the series I was doing in Anne Arundel County.
Lets Make a Deal!
Buy any one of the products above (example below) at Walgreens
Curacaine (sounds like something every mom could use in the medicine cabinet) $7.00
Pay $7 and get back $7 in Register Rewards (it’ll be a catalina coupon you’ll receive at the check out when you make this 1 qualifying purchase)
Take the $7 Manufacturer’s Catalina coupon & take it to Giant (see Giant Foods coupon matchups here) and buy anything with a value over $7 (could be $7.05 for an item)
= 5¢ !
Note: Giant accepts competitors coupons and that DOES include Walgreens Register Rewards too! Walgreens will likely sell out of these items very early in the sale cycle so be sure to hit this deal as fast as you can. Also note that Giant will only accept 1 coupon per item (its the way the registers are programmed) so you can’t use another manufacturer’s coupon if you’re planning to use the catalina coupon on 1 item (so 1 item 1 coupon). Giant will also NOT allow you to use a coupon that has a higher value than the item or they’ll reduce the coupon so make sure you buy something OVER the value of the catalina coupon.
