It’s that time of year again to change out the wreath on your front door and make something new! So, if you’re looking for Homemade Halloween Wreath Ideas I’ll show you a wreath that we just completed. It’s fun and easy and you can pick out any colors you like for your own.
Supplies for your Homemade Halloween Wreath
- Wreath form
- Mesh Ribbon
- Filler Ribbon (any kind you like will do)
- Pipe cleaners (in colors that will blend with your project)
Wrap you pipe cleaners evenly spaced around the wreath form
Using your mesh ribbon bunch even amounts around the spaces securing it in places with the pipe cleaner wrapping it around the bunched ribbon then around the wreath form
Once you have your mesh ribbon wrapped and secured around the form, fluff it and make sure it’s evenly spaced with no obvious holes (don’t wrap the entire pipe cleaner, you’ll still need the other half for securing the inside ribbon)
Take your smaller solid ribbon and go around the inside of your wreath form securing it with the second half of your pipe cleaners left. Once you have wrapped and secured it as well, fluff and fill in any gaps or holes.
Additional: If you want to add a drop decoration in the middle take an additional pipe cleaner and create a place for it to hang from the bottom of the top middle rung of the wreath form. Secure and once you have hung your wreath you can turn it to hang in the correct direction.
