My doctor told me to leave off nail polish so my nails could get oxygen and the nail fungus will go away. It takes a year or more for the clear nail to grow out, but the fungus is gone
There is no actual cure for toe nail fungus. You can treat it, but it works kind of like coloring your hair. You can treat it but the minute you stop, it comes back. Mycosis is a natural by product of aging. Our immune systems focus on more important things than our toenails. Use this remedy if it works for you but use it twice daily and remember that if you stop, the fungus comes back.
Sorry Angie but Fungus is curable, otherwise how do you get rid of verruca, thrush etc?
Try using Vaseline on your toenail fungus.
I use tea tree oil on mine. Put some on a small piece if cotton and stick it under your nails. Morning and evening. Mine cleared up in 3 weeks. Its been 2 years ago and no more fungus. I am in my 60’s.
I second this remedy…works just great and easy to do. Have to be a stickler for applying the tea tree oil a couple of times per day and lightly lift the nail to get the tea tree oil under it as well as soaking the top…let it dry and enjoy your day. It stinks, but, in 3 weeks or so…fungus gone…for good.
Thank you for this…I am 44 and one of my toes has had this for a few years. Yes, don ‘t listen to the naysayers who say “you will never be able to get rid of it” or even more paranoid “the minute you stop it comes back”…that is pretty defeatist.
Try using Vicks vapor rub on your toes every day. It worked for me.
I recently saw a formula that read it would kill toe nail fingus in two weeks:
1/4 cup Hydrogen peroxide to 1/2 gallon of warm water. Soak feet twice a day for 20 minutes each time for a total of 2 Weeks. They said by the end of 2 weeks fungal toe nail problems will be gone!

The toe nail needs to be filed down — best by an podiatrist — then use bleach to kill fungus or the peroxide may also work.
Can someone put them in European measurements? Litres, millilitres? How much is a cup? Or in UK standard, Gallons, Pints…. (1 gallon is 8 pints or just over 4 litres)

You can use it on more than whites. That is all oxi clean is hydrogen peroxide and washing soda . I use it on my lighter colors also. I have used it to clean my carpet. Peroxide mixed with water .
I would like the toe nail fungus cure
This is great for mildew / mold. I purchased peroxide in a spray bottle. I sprayed my basement walls because they had mold. It has been two years and nothing has returned. It is truly a miracle for basements and showers. I tried everything before using the peroxide, only to have the mold return. This is the sure cure.

Actually toe nail fungus is better if you buff the toe nail then soak in bleach water. Kills fungus
Bleach will not kill the roots. Peroxide will.
I used hydrogen peroxide to remove 2 warts. I sprayed each wart with hp and covered with a bandaid each night for a couple of weeks. Did not see progress so stopped. about 3-4 weeks later I noticed warts gone and no scar.
