WEEK 3 – Well this is the 3rd Monday in my series on my i-Lipo chronicle. A few weeks back I decided to put myself 1st (I’m a mom with 4 kids) and after some research I decided to get i-Lipo treatments.
i-Lipo has got to be the greatest cosmetic procedure on the market. It’s non evasive, non-surgical and it shrinks inches of fat. It’s really almost unbelievable but it DOES work! I was a size 16 when I started my i-Lipo treatments. I’m now wearing a size 14 pants going into my 3rd week. How exciting is that???
I could never find child care to take the time off to heal from liposuction or a tummy tuck so I started searching for alternatives and found i-Lipo. There is only 1 i-Lipo provider on the Eastern Shore of Maryland – Dr. Patrick Callahan in Chestertown, MD. Some people refer to it as “laser liposuction” and that really is what happens. You get these 20 minute treatments and walk away having reduced your fat circumference (for lack of a better word Lol). There are NO bad side effects! It’s that just amazing?
On week 2 I decided to start taking pictures so you could see my real results. I’m doing the chronicle of my treatments because women everywhere want to feel and look better and lets face it – after 4 kids that is NOT easy to do! So I have some images to share with you.

Ok, so on with the results. Last Friday we decided to start working on my waist line on up. I started out with a 37 inch waist and now I’m at a 34 and 3/4ths” & 35″ at the mid-line. Between the breast and waistline area I’m a 34″ – a 1/2″ small than when we started that new area! Yahoo!
Oh, and for my weight – I started out weighing between 180lbs and about 182lbs daily. This morning when I awoke I weighted 174.8. Hip hip HOORAY! I have cut down on portion sizes and mainly eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and proteins. Sometimes I have a greek yogurt when I’m on the go, hungry and no time for a meal, but other than that I’m trying to stick to the fruits, veggies, nuts and proteins. Sometimes I have an English muffin but my bread type carbs has been greatly reduced. The other things I eat in unlimited quantity.
So, if you think about it, getting rid of 5lbs doesn’t drop a pants size….. But getting i-Lipo and loosing 5lbs DOES! Very exciting! I felt so defeated with my weight and this has given me a great edge to make the changes that I needed. I feel so much better about myself I can’t even tell you the confidence I feel getting thinner.
As I write tonight I have 2 kids home sick and I’m having an unfriendly tickle in my throat so I’m not sure how many more i-Lipo treatments I’ll be able to get this week. I was scheduled for every day but with sick kids now we may have to wait until next week. Life as a mom!

It’s relatively simple – especially when you compare these kind of results to the pain of surgery. Only modern technology would allow you to sculpt your body with a laser!

Well I have 1 more week planned (this week) however kids (and me too) are sick. I’d like to continue on past the one week left but we’ll see. I’m really happy with the results thus far. It’s through Dr Patrick Callahan’s office. He’s the only one on the shore with the i-Lipo machine. Well by looking at your photos it is really hard to see if it works. The one with your back and your shirt up, you don’t have the shirt up all the way from before and after, I can kind of see in the white shirt that you still have the rolls. It would be nice if you would have taking photos in just a bra, and maybe with the same color undies you have the white lower than the black which is in the crease of where that fat was showing in the white and black hides fat. And for the muffin top the same you should have been in a bra or the same color shirt and by you circling in white makes it not noticeable so I really can’t tell if it worked. Next time you do this it is very important to wear the same thing or put on a bikini bathing suit.
