Johnny Rockets New Look #JohnnyrocketsDC
Johnny Rockets has a whole new look, and my daughter and I were excited to take a mommy-daughter date to see what all the craze is about. Friday, July 29, we headed out to Johnny Rockets in Washington D.C. to celebrate the new look of Johnny Rockets and of course enjoy our mommy daughter time. Here are a few things we loved about Johnny Rockets:
The Visual Design Says Come In
Their visual design was more than appealing. The retro designs of the 1950s and post-World War 2 pop culture has come to an end and the new millennial appeal is all the hype. With a red bottle cap logo, wood planking, white brick veneer, and beautiful wall murals, this burger shop was classy.
Same Great Food
Though the entire Johnny Rockets has a new look, their burgers, fries, and shakes are still to die for. We enjoyed fries topped with cheese and bacon, incredibly original burgers, and delicious shakes. My original burger with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms was juicy, flavorful, and one of the best burgers I have ever had. Of course, our mommy daughter Cookie and Cream Malt and Chocolate flavored shakes were the treat of the night.
The Staff Was Friendly
The staff went out of their way to be friendly and more than willing to help making this more than just dinner but a fabulous dining experience. We were greeted with smiles and delivered some of the best food in only a short time. It’s always great when you get great food and great staff.
Fun Activities at Johnny Rockets
When it comes to eating with a little one, you know how they can’t sit still for long. They were also accommodating when I needed something for her, such as napkins or anything else. It’s nice to have quick service as well when you’re eating with a little one. Trust me, as much as we like Johnny Rockets, it’s hard to keep a child’s attention for long. Quick services and fun activities are very much appreciated by this mama.
Have you been to the new and improved Johnny Rockets? How was your experience? Did you like the new look? It’s a family “keeper” restaurant for sure! We WILL be back! Thanks to Gigasavvy for this fabulous meal for media night so that I could review the restaurant. All opinions are 100% mine.
