We’ve booked a workshop for Extreme Couponing at the Chestertown Baptist Church, 401 Morgnec Rd. Chestertown, MD on Thursday October 27th at 6:30pm. Go to our Facebook page and click “events” in the left side bar and invite your Facebook friends and contacts from your e-mail list to this event! The seminar is about 2.5 hours and then a question and answer at the end. The fee is $15.00 per person. Food and beverage will be available as a fundraiser for the church. You’ll need to RSVP to our Facebook wall. This event is open to the public! You may invite guests under “events” in the left side tab on our Facebook wall. Click +Select Guests to Invite. Participants should bring a pen or pencil – I’ll supply prepared notes from my power point presentation. If you are already couponing, please feel free to bring your coupons and trade during the presentation.

There is quite a bit of material to cover so be prepared to start at 6:30pm. You may like to arrive 20 to 30 minutes early to register, and sign in. If you have previously attended one of my seminars you are welcome back at no charge. Bring your folder.
If your group or organization would like to book an event, please let me know the anticipated number of participants along with possible dates and times. I have received several different e-mails from other churches and non profit organizations about couponing for charitable purposes. Because of the poor economy, donations are down which means organizations and places of worship have to find other ways to support their charitable giving and projects. Its called “Couponing for Your Cause” and this workshop will help your organization understand how to extreme coupon so that they may support a homeless shelter, family in need or any other charity. Many churches are turning to couponing to help their members and charitable giving. There are also many ways to turn this event into a fundraiser….. We can charge $15.00 per person and you keep the $3.00 per person different for your charity, you can sell food at the event or collect packaged good for a food drive (be creative). We just made a large donation to the Lighthouse Homeless Shelter of Annapolis (see photo below) on August 1st all thanks to savvy couponing. We acquired all of the items at no cost. Changing our community with coupons – Its really cool!
Here is what we donated: 16 boxes pasta, 25 quick cook pasta, 1 cookie mix, 4 mustard, 13 hot sauce, 21 boxes brownies, 19 cake mix, 30 icings, 108 dispos. razors, over 75 deodorants, 8 shout wipes, over 22 lotion, 14 shampoo, 5 card games, 1 hungry hippo game, trial size bar soaps, conditioner & more…….
